Our Traditional Oaxacan Breakfast
Our rates include our classic and traditional Oaxacan breakfast. We select the best local ingredients to magically combine them in delicious and original dishes that you can enjoy in our beautiful patio.
Dishes such as quesillo omelet with chapulines, enfrijoladas with quesillo, quesadillas with grasshoppers, chilaquiles with jerky among others, accompanied by our traditional orange pancake and home-made jams.

Our Rooms
The six bedrooms are bright and spacious, with wide walls and soaring ceilings. Each one is different from the others and all are exquisitely decorated with antique and contemporary furniture, Oaxacan textiles and works of art.
Monte Albán
It is a spacious room with a king size bed topped with an 18th century wrought iron headboard.
Alebrijes
It is an intimate and cozy room with a king size bed and decorated with 19th century antiques.
Mitla
The visitor is welcomed by two double beds with brass headboards from the last century and articles from the Colony.
Chapulines
It is a spacious room with two double beds framed with brass headboards.
Santo Domingo
It is one of our most spectacular rooms.

Amelia Lara
The hotel is managed by Amelia Lara Tamburrino, who for six years was cultural advisor to the Mexican Embassy in Rome.
She held relevant positions in the cultural scene of Mexico: she was director of the National Institute of Anthropology and History in Puebla and for many years she directed the Castle of Chapultepec in Mexico City. In Oaxaca, she coordinated the Santo Domingo Cultural Center for 17 years.

Es el mejor lugar para hospedarse en Oaxaca. No hay comparación. Viste el año pasado y me hospede en otro muy bien pero este hotel es único. Mari te atiende de manera singular, todo el personal hace todo por cumplir tus deseos. El desayuno delicioso y con muchísima variedad! Y las habitaciones te hacen sentir en casa. Our stay at La Casona De Tita was one of the best parts of our trip to Oaxaca! The hotel is perfectly located, close to downtown, but on a quiet street. The staff is OUTSTANDING! Mari was so kind and helpful, she made our Oaxaca experience so much easier! The breakfast is wonderful and Gabrielle made each and every morning enjoyable and special. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a clean, safe, and special stay in Oaxaca!

El mejor alojamiento en Oaxaca. Somos una familia de tres. Desde la primera comunicación con Dani y Amelia, nos sentimos como en casa. Nos han dicho que son miembros de su familia. Las fotos no hacen justicia al apartamento. Es increíblemente tranquilo y lujoso, se han resuelto todos los detalles. El personal del hotel fue increíblemente útil, e incluso nos acompañó personalmente al apartamento. El desayuno es fantástico! No lo dudes.

“Super friendly staff, really attentive to guests. Really helpful with tour information and booking. Went out of their way to give us snacks and breakfast before we left for the tour, even though we left before the kitchen opened. Great location, really close to restaurants and main city attractions. Comfy beds and nice rooms, really clean as well. Best one I stayed in Oaxaca.”
